"ILE AUX CANARDS"
Only 5 minutes by boat from Anse-Vata, Duck Island is a reserve rich in fish life, ideal for snorkelling, or diving with a helmet only 4 metres underwater in the "Ocean Walk", or learning to scuba dive.
One diving centre uses the floating pontoon right in front of this pretty island to organise a very original activity. "Ocean Walk"® enables anyone to experience the underwater world (from 5 years and up). Without knowing how to swim, and with no prior experience you can walk along the sea bed enjoying the fish life and other underwater fasinations.
Also offered is an introductory scuba-diving course. In the safe confines of the beautiful reef everyone from 8 years old can experience scuba.
You can also begin your scuba training here through the PADI system. This is a perfect location to learn to dive.
All transfers from Anse-Vata are included by the diving centre.
